Where these estimates come from

The calculator uses published industry benchmarks and stays deliberately conservative. Roughly half of returned items cannot be resold as new. Liquidating in bulk typically recovers only 15 to 30 cents on the dollar, while open-box items sold direct to shoppers commonly fetch 70 to 90 percent of retail. Every figure is an estimate, not a guarantee.
